1. Purpose

SportPulse exists to make badminton activity easier to discover, organize, score, and improve. This policy sets standards for sportsmanship, reliability, community safety, chat, user-generated content, moderation, reporting, blocking, score integrity, and venue respect.

2. Who Must Follow This Policy

This policy applies to all users, including players, hosts, co-hosts, scorers, tournament participants, captains, organizers, tournament staff, venue partners, facility managers, coaches, academies, guardians, students, sponsors, and visitors.

3. Core Standards

You must:

  • Treat players, opponents, partners, hosts, venue staff, organizers, coaches, guardians, students, and SportPulse staff with respect.
  • Follow venue, tournament, coaching, and safety rules.
  • Join only activities you intend to attend.
  • Report scores honestly.
  • Use your actual account and role.
  • Respect privacy, consent, and boundaries.
  • Help keep minors, students, and vulnerable participants safe.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, stalk, dox, exploit, blackmail, or abuse anyone.
  • Post hate speech or discriminatory content based on religion, caste, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar protected characteristics.
  • Share sexually explicit content, non-consensual intimate content, child sexual abuse material, obscene material, or sexualized content involving minors.
  • Promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, dangerous activity, illegal drugs, illegal weapons, or criminal conduct.
  • Defame, impersonate, deceive, scam, phish, or fraudulently collect payments.
  • Upload private images, personal data, student data, injury data, guardian details, or venue/staff data without authority.
  • Manipulate scores, rankings, ratings, teams, fixtures, brackets, reputation, reviews, reports, refunds, wallet credits, or platform visibility.
  • Use multiple accounts to evade restrictions, play below your level, manipulate tournament eligibility, or avoid no-show history.
  • Use chat or reviews to spam, advertise without permission, solicit unrelated services, or pressure users.
  • Create unsafe conditions at venues or events.

5. Fair Play and Match Integrity

SportPulse ratings, standings, analytics, and team suggestions depend on honest participation. You must not:

  • Submit false scores.
  • Intentionally lose or collude to manipulate ratings.
  • Misrepresent skill level, team eligibility, age, gender category, or player identity.
  • Ask scorers, hosts, organizers, or opponents to falsify results.
  • Abuse scoring permissions.
  • Tamper with fixtures, brackets, or live scoring.
  • Retaliate against someone for disputing a score in good faith.

SportPulse may correct, lock, remove, review, or annotate suspicious scores or results.

6. Reliability and No-Shows

When you join a game, booking, tournament, or coaching session, you are making a commitment. Late cancellations and no-shows may lead to:

  • Non-refundable charges.
  • Attendance or reputation records.
  • Reduced trust signals.
  • Join restrictions.
  • Host approval requirements.
  • Temporary or permanent suspension.

7. Chat, Crews, Groups, and Messaging

Chat and social tools are for SportPulse-related coordination and community. You must not use them to:

  • Harass or repeatedly contact someone who does not want contact.
  • Send unwanted commercial messages.
  • Share sensitive personal data without consent.
  • Send sexual, threatening, hateful, fraudulent, or illegal content.
  • Pressure users for payments outside approved SportPulse flows.
  • Circumvent blocks, restrictions, or moderation decisions.

8. User-Generated Content Standards

Content may include profiles, photos, messages, reviews, venue images, tournament logos, sponsor assets, rules, coaching notes, reports, and comments. Content must:

  • Be lawful.
  • Be accurate where factual.
  • Respect privacy and intellectual property rights.
  • Avoid misleading claims about venues, sponsors, coaches, rankings, fees, refunds, or prizes.
  • Be appropriate for a sports community that may include minors.

9. Reporting and Blocking

SportPulse may provide tools to report users, chat messages, content, fraud, safety issues, and policy violations. Reports should be made in good faith.

You may block users where supported. Blocking may limit direct interaction, discovery, messaging, or other social features, but it may not remove all visibility in public tournaments, bookings, scores, or shared contexts.

False, abusive, or retaliatory reports may lead to moderation action.

10. Moderation Actions

SportPulse may take action including:

  • Warning a user.
  • Removing, hiding, editing, labeling, or restricting content.
  • Locking chat threads.
  • Restricting messaging, posting, booking, hosting, joining, scoring, organizing, coaching, or partner privileges.
  • Correcting or removing scores, ratings, standings, teams, or reputation entries.
  • Cancelling registrations, bookings, games, or tournaments.
  • Suspending or terminating accounts.
  • Preserving records for legal, safety, or fraud purposes.
  • Reporting to app stores, payment processors, venues, organizers, coaches, guardians, law enforcement, or regulators where appropriate.

Moderation decisions may use reports, user history, content review, staff notes, technical logs, payment signals, safety concerns, and automated indicators.

11. Appeals

You may contact support@sportpulse.in to ask for review of a moderation action. Include:

  • Account email or phone number.
  • Activity, content, report, booking, game, tournament, or message ID if available.
  • Explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect.
  • Supporting evidence.

SportPulse may decline appeals that are abusive, repetitive, unsafe, or legally restricted.

12. Venue and Event Conduct

At venues and events, you must:

  • Follow facility rules, including footwear, equipment, timing, hygiene, and restricted areas.
  • Respect staff instructions.
  • Avoid damaging property.
  • Avoid aggressive or unsafe play.
  • Leave courts on time.
  • Pay required fees.
  • Respect other bookings and participants.

SportPulse may restrict accounts based on verified venue complaints, organizer complaints, or safety incidents.

13. Minors and Students

Users must treat minors and students with special care. Do not:

  • Contact minors outside appropriate SportPulse, guardian, coach, or academy workflows.
  • Share student data or reports with unauthorized recipients.
  • Upload student images or personal details without authority.
  • Engage in grooming, exploitation, harassment, or inappropriate relationships.

Serious child-safety concerns may be reported to appropriate authorities.

14. Sponsored and Promotional Content

Tournament sponsors, promotion boosts, and venue offers must be truthful, lawful, and authorized. They must not:

  • Mislead users about affiliation, prize value, discounts, venue availability, refund rights, or tournament status.
  • Promote illegal products or services.
  • Use third-party logos or images without permission.
  • Target minors unlawfully.

15. Emergency and Serious Harm

SportPulse is not an emergency service. In case of immediate danger, injury, crime, or medical emergency, contact local emergency services, venue staff, event organizers, or qualified professionals.
